Historic Joy Kogawa House, in partnership with Vancouver Poetry House, will offer a special poetry jam at Word Vancouver. This is a non-competitive group writing, sharing, feedback session where novice to established writers who are interested in spoken word poetry are invited to come share some space. Participants will have the opportunity to write together using various prompts, then share work that is discussed in an encouraging learning environment facilitated by Johnny D Trinh. Being inspired by so many stories and books at Word Vancouver, this is a great way to take some quiet time to nurture the creative.
