About The Readers

Nandita Ratan

Nandita Ratan is a Vancouver-based illustrator from Hyderabad, India. With a keen interest in printed work, she began her career designing for events and various editorial clients. Ellis on Guard by Sal Sawler, is the first book she has illustrated. When she isn't drawing, she spends her time enjoying sunshine, drinking copious amounts of tea and talking to her plants.

Angela Ahn

ANGELA AHN is a former teacher and librarian. She is the author of several children's books, including Swimming Into Trouble, The Big Splash, Team Park, Krista Kim-Bap, and Peter Lee's Notes from the Field, which was shortlisted for the Governor General's Award and the OLA Silver Birch Award, and was named a USBBY Outstanding International Book. She lives in Vancouver, BC, with her family.
